Valedictorian Christian Academy for Learning, Inc. (VCA) was incorporated in Florida originally in 2005. We set out to provide quality childcare for more reasonable prices. VCA wanted to give all children entering into their program a chance to get above, state of the art education from an early age.
There are two parts to VCA. The kindergarten classes and up is the private school also solely known as VCA. Valedictorian Learning Center Inc. (VLC) is the childcare and is geared toward the beginning stages of education, starting with the nursery.
Together both aspects of VCA pursue to help you and your family grow without limits. We solely uphold the Word of GOD throughout our curriculum and work with learning to respect and gain discipline through instruction and guidance.
Valedictorian Christian Academy for Learning Inc. (VCA) and Valedictorian Learning Center Inc. (VLC)is an incorporated extention of the KL Foundation Inc. (KLF). KLF was founded by Lisa Cabrales-Berek in 2002 after her passion for helping break the cycle of poverty amongst young women. Both VCA and VLC are Christian based.
KL Foundation Inc was incorporated in Florida. The goals were to help young mothers from the age of 14-24 stay in school, get a job, go on to pursue their dreams with the help of furthering their education via college or vocational training, and offering parenting classes, counseling, substance abuse help, food and shelter.
In order to fund the foundation Lisa decided to branch out and open a daycare and school as a part of the foundation. She started the daycare in her home in 2005. From there she decided to fund the foundation with ninety percent of annual revenue from VCA and VLC.
Lisa also made it contingent to every business she would open or begin, she would donate and additional five percent back to KLF. Along with the monetary donations, she would provide jobs and training to the mothers and young ladies (whether they had children or not) accepted into KLF's program.
The philosophy is "If you give a woman a fish; She and her family would eat for a day; But IF you teach a woman how to fish; She and her family would eat for a LIFETIME". In saying this If KLF helped a woman pursue her dreams we expect her to return and help another. If one of our participants is helped by opening a business they are committed to donate at least 2.5% back to KLF annually to help another woman reach their potential.
VCA and VLC in just the beginning for the foundation. The children of these women would be offered childcare and an education far beyond standard so that the cycle of crime and poverty would be broken. Of course the participants would have to choose and be willing to change their lives for the benefit of them and their families.
VCA and VLC begins their educational curriculum at the age of three (3) months old. We offer state of the art and up to date technology and materials to every child of every age.

We will soon provide scholarships for parents unable to pay through the fundraisers we ask all parents to participate in.

Child Safety
Our classrooms are small in size allowing more attention to each child in our care. There is at least one full-time teacher and one part-time assistant for each class.

​Our Staff

Each one of our staff, from the Superintendent to the Janitors undergo thorough drug, education, and background screenings. Our staff is trained and certified to work in our schools and childcare centers. After all it does take a village to raise a child and we want you and your child(ren) to be and feel safe.
